aunty is a classical floor lamp with a spherical base and cylindrical brocade shade. But this is visible only as a two-dimensional silhouette on a mirrored surface. Lights out and aunty is a purist object with no discernible use. Lights on and the depiction of the lamp itself suddenly becomes a source of light.

The Design of the TWIST lampshade is defined by computer algorithms. Via our web interface, every consumer, interior designer and architect is able to design their individual lampshade. I will never leave my house without sunglasses anymore and never have to worry about losing a pair. If there would be a design movement called pop-art products, that would be it...
