Robert Rüf was born in Alberschwende/Austria in 1981. After graduating in Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2005 he has been working both on his own and in collaborations with other designers in the fields of product-, furniture-, interior- and exhibition design.
Lives and works in Vienna.

links is a stackable and linkable contract chair. The chairs’ linking element, the twisted metal frame, is an integrative part of it, on to which the seating shell can be fitted without any tool. The cut-out facilitates transport.
