The idea behind the R-Table is to create a piece of furniture witch combines a low coffee-table situation with a dining table for six persons.

Alu Dining Chair

Beeing completely made out of foldet CNC-cutted AluCore(r) (aluminium honey-comb material) the Alu Dining Chair has a leightweight of 2,6kg. The Chair basically consists of three folding-parts, the seatingpart is covered with abrasion-resistant felt in various colours.
AluCore is a hight-tech material which is industrially used for applications as ultralight airplane-interiors, architectual facades and ship interiors.
The chair offers the possibility of mass-customization (various patterns via screen printing) because of the two dimensional production process.
