Apart from his activity as an architect and designer, Martin Mostböck is assistant professor and lecturer at the Technical University of Vienna. For his designs he has received a number of renowned national and international awards and nominations (among others the Adolf Loos award, the red dot award, the International Design Prize Baden-Wuerttemberg, the Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany). His work and designs have been shown in exhibitions all over Europe.

A limited 40-copy edition of the carpet was produced on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing (July 20, 1969, Apollo 11). The perforation extends the scope of the carpet and opens space for new visions.
The concept of the Twista series is based on specifically warped surfaces, which create dynamic: A body is defined with distinctive architectural and plastical qualities, contrasting with its surrounding. A moving form originates - to be used either as a single object or combined to a system.
