The starting point for this project was the invitation to the European Design Exhibition 2011 in Düsseldorf where 40 designers from 40 different countries were invited to design a stool that fits to their country.
MERANO's legs are held directly by the seat and back shell. In combination with the substructure this parts become a stable unit. The intersection of the shells and legs results also into the armrest.
The idea behind Axel chair is the result of the combination of traditional wood furniture construction methods with CNC milling technology.
Tendine is a coffee and tea set consisting of a pot and a saucer. It is extensible to a complete set.
