Eyry Lamp

Eyry is a pendant lamp with a span of 2 metres. The fabric-covered wire frame appears as a compact body. The contours of the lamp become discernable as dark lines only after activation of the luminary. The translucent fabric fully encloses the body, but the light breaks through to radiate in all directions. The jacket of fabric can be detached and thus easily varied. By means of different jackets various light atmospheres can be created. The clear contours and the angular language of forms is characteristic of Buchegger, Denoth, Feichtner.

The book Pure Austrian Design as a phenomenon stimulates - supported by a series of planned exhibitions and a virtual platform in the web - the dialogue in a globalized context between the different groups of interest in order to promote the search for the identity creating values of a local but open-minded culture of design.lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;Pure Austrian Design focuses on indoor and outdoor furniture and lighting, two sectors with a large local tradition. Pure Austrian Design is also a creative adventure, a round trip through Austrian hedonism.lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;And Pure Austrian Design is even more. A book with a soundtrack on CD: AudioFurniture. Music as an additional layer in our lives, provided by carefully selected audio tracks, sonorous pieces of an established Austrian club music scene with international projection.lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;Pure Austrian Design is divided in three thematic areas: Eminent Companies, Emerging Designers and AudioFurniture.lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;lt;stronggt;Featureslt;br /gt;By:lt;/stronggt; Julia Taubinger amp;amp; Andramp;eacute;s Fredeslt;br /gt;lt;stronggt;Publisher:lt;/stronggt; JULAND BarcelonaViennalt;br /gt;Year: 2005lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;lt;stronggt;Pages:lt;/stronggt; 432 lt;br /gt;lt;stronggt;Format:lt;/stronggt; 23,5 cm x 28 cmlt;br /gt;lt;stronggt;ISBN:lt;/stronggt; 84-96309-11-8

The invisible inside becomes visible and gets a concrete emotional meaning by careful processing and refinement of the object'ssurface. The objects are not only to be admired on pedestals and in showcases but to be used and filled. This perhaps allows an irreverent, but hopefully humorous usage of my creations.

The idea came from a medieval copper tumbler, itself influenced by Islamic shapes. Following the trend of the fifties the glasses can be stapled amp;ndash; bearing the spirit of the lt;emgt;Frankfurter Kamp;uuml;chelt;/emgt; (amp;ldquo;for the young householdamp;rdquo;). Thinnest musselin glas, mouth blown into wooden forms, gives them elegance. lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;In 1964 this series was awarded the German National Design Price amp;quot;Gute Formamp;ldquo;. Today the water tumblers are available in four light colours and granate.

For the first time, however, they do not consist of the amp;quot;Axiomeamp;quot;-specific straight surfaces. The glasses gain their three-dimensional body only by rotating the amp;quot;Axiomsamp;quot;, which explains the term amp;quot;Axioms in Rotationamp;quot;. The shape of the glasses isamp;nbsp;horizontally reflected, thus creating two different glasses out of one form.
