Completely made out of folded CNC-cutted AluCore® (aluminium honey-comb material), the Alu Dining Chair has a leightweight of 2,6 kg. The chair basically consists of three folding parts, the seating is covered with abrasion-resistant felt in various colours.
AluCore® is a high-tech material which is industrially used for applications as ultralight airplane interiors, architectural facades and ship interiors. The chair offers the possibility of mass-customization (various patterns via screen printing) due to its two dimensional production process.
