Seating

Freischwinger designed by Thomas Ehrenfried

separator Seating

Freischwinger

Freischwinger is a comfortable seat for public spaces, such as airports, museums, lobbies or bars.
In contrast to conventional seat rows, users are able to choose the direction they want to sit in.

Strong seat belts fix the symmetrical backlean to the seat, which allows - almost magically - opening the seat in both directions. The mechanic is based on the tense beltsystem, which provides the seat its unique look. New spaces of communication are created and more individuality is given to the user.
