Rino is a coat hook made out of stiffed felt, it is crafted according to the hatter’s technique.
The profile is similar to a horn. The generous deposition and the material take care of the garment. Due to its inordinate size, the volume implies the formal vocabulary of comics or fairy tales. The inside is hollow and can dissemble caps, scarves or gloves, whereat the hook works without content, too.
The project originated out of a recycling concept in 2003, being manufactured with new materials in the meanwhile.
