Lightube.sys is a simple and practicable modular Hi-tech lamp.
/“light - flowing through tubes, like water - leaking out of all holes.”/
*“Lightube.sys"* is a tube shaped lamp in a suspension system. It consists of modular parts and special facilities.
Size and weight depend on the number of elements used.
The aesthetic quality of the design copies the form of regular water-tubes.
The tube seems to come out of the wall without any fixing flanges. When fastened, the simple one-screw system is hidden inside. Due to the stainless steel cover, each module has a maximum load of 60 kg. It is minimal in diameter (30mm) and extensionable up to 20 meters length from one power-source (6A/1000W).
A special designed transparent tray with included power-cables allows air circulation, but also covers the lamp and protects the electronic devices from water and dust.
Lightube.sys has additional range of application due to its light-producing elements. Every tube-part is 360° turnable, because of the cylindrical plug-socket system. Light-situations can be modified to personal and individual needs.
*No extra installation for the control equipment is required!* Mini-electronic-ballasts, inside every single tube-part, transform the rated voltage AC power and guarantees a safe and economical operation of the lamps, which increases the lifespan of fluorescent lamps up to 20.000h.
*these devices are main parts of this product and make various forms of usage possible:*
- as handrails to illuminate banisters or stairs
- to hang / light up curtains, pictures and cloth (also in cupboards)
- to spotlight shelves, showcases and displays in exhibitions
- as emergency lighting or guiding system with different colours
- as suspension rail in kitchens with ambient or spotted light on the place of work
