Seating
The form of the seat shell is a result of the sequence of spring steel streamers and the torsion of them. Transformed from the two-dimensional material into a third dimension, the material generates the form by searching for the shortest line. The result depends on the self-equilibrating stress of the material and is controlled by the position of the fixing points.
The underframe - made of steel tube - is used to fix the ribbons and makes the ergonomics. The cantilever form gives a comfortable springing effect. A soft synthetic coating is given for the convenient haptics.

famous chair
I recognized this chair from the Cologn Fair and I am happy to have discovered it here again. It´s a masterpiece and I, as a design fetish, would like to find this in any high-profile furniture store!
