Seating
The new Arta range of wooden chairs by Wiesner-Hager marks a turning point in wooden chair design. Innovative bonding technology used in the frame has achieved a design with chamfered chair legs and frame elements which has never before been possible in a wooden chair of this kind.
This sophisticated, delicate style is the product of outstanding craftsmanship and design skills. Arta is characterised by a visual lightness, which is normally associated exclusively with metal-framed chairs. The seating shell with tapering plywood backrest emphasises the lightness of this solid wooden chair.
The value of Arta is not only its design, but also its construction: robust, durable, high-quality, timber which originates exclusively from woodland stock managed in an ecologically sustainable manner (PEFC-certified forests) combined with comfortable upholstery, which is suitable for extended and continuous use.
Arta will be available from the 4th quarter of 2006.
