carrying out product design for high-end loudspeakers is a difficult task: to reach the target group the cabinet should not look specially shaped, yet should still suggest the acoustic quality and the music sensation which can be expected by precise details.
the technical innovation of the shelf-speaker 'the kiss' togehter with others from the klimt series is its revolutionary, flat, concentric 18 cm driver. that driver is placed in a head module which is pivotable and inclinable, thus allowing optimal adjustment of the sound to the given room conditions and the point of listening, like the beam of a swivelling flashlight.
so that the same setting can easily be reproduced on both loudspeakers, they each have a high-tech aluminium mechanism. for the target group, this is also a sign of precision and the highest quality.
a centre speaker ('poetry') and a stand-version ('the music') make the klimt product family complete. by using different stands for the left, central and right loudspeakers a distinctive shape is achieved, a kind of a triptych.
