POLKA Pots

What is the norm? How many handles does a pot need anyway?
What makes an object a functional object, and how do you define function?

The project questions basic criteria. The idea of the pot is changed, modified, mutated.
The elements of these known daily-used objects are rearranged- the result is a collection of creatures, which can amuse you, they seem to ask you how you would use them, and they make you think about your routines and ways of doing things.

The project is a collaboration between POLKA and Riess Email, a traditional austrian enamel company.

The objects will be produced in an edition of 100, they are made on order.
