FKY shelf designed by For Use / Numen
Sticks of different width are crossed in 9 layers. The horizontal ones are parallel while the verticals are inclined and rotated leading to decomposition and dematerialisation of the object.
The sticks are starting to dance and fly. Numerous interconnections are providing sufficient stability of the structure. The emerging triangle compositions of wooden strips are improving the statics of the shelf structure. The sticks are made of light and dark oiled solid oak and colour lacquered solid beech wood.
