grand_ma is a side table. Switched on, an old fashioned grand-ma-style tea cloth appears.
An ironic comment to the "horror vacui" - the blurry fear of emptiness - wide spread in todays living spaces, where no single corner stays empty but instead gets crammed with things promising ease and comfort. This piece of furniture allows cosiness with a simple push of a button.
