Hippo Water Roller
In many countries, traditional water collection involves carrying a 5-gallon (20-liter) bucket on the head. This practice puts a great burden on the body and can damage the spine, neck and knees over time. A full Hippo Water Roller only feels like 22 pounds (10 kg) when rolled over level ground, making it possible for almost anyone to transport 24 gallons (90 liters) of water in much less time and with greater ease.

Ron Arad's Rotator
Rotator is a hydraulic interior which was developed for the Italian manufacturer Teuco. The concept of a shower / bath tub / bathroom seems to be completely redefined using a bath that spins to empty and becomes a shower. A central part of the area is a hemispherical device which is anchored in the wall and allows the shower to be turned into a bathtub. The water is drained from the bath by rotating it back to the shower position. Two function in a design.

The Look/Book 2008 release party as crowning finale of VIENNA DESIGN WEEK was hosted by departure on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Volksgarten Banane in Vienna. Sybille Straubinger, Municipal Councilor, and Christoph Thun-Hohenstein, Managing Director of departure, presented this successful tour through Vienna's creative industries in the presence of 900 creative professionals.
