Super Sports Cars and Translucent Concrete
Design legend Luigi Colani and other visionaries are expected at the Incredible Summit in Vienna on 29 June 2009. Luigi Colani, who made design history for decades and influenced and shaped entire eras of art and society worldwide, will showcase his visionary, futurist work at the Incredible Summit "IncrediblEurope - The Power of Innovation and Creativity" in Vienna's Kursalon.
Masterminds of innovation and creativity
During the Incredible Summit, innovative and creative thinkers, decision makers, entrepreneurs and interested people from across Europe will discuss the need for a continental branding, outstanding "Made in Europe" developments and strategies for a common, sustainable future for our continent.
Among those already confirmed Master Minds is - next to the inventor of translucent concrete Áron Losonczi, the world-renowned violinist and cultural ambassador Miha Pogačnik, the founder of Bled School of Management Prof. Danica Purg, the multiple award-winning graphic designer Mirko Ilic, and the world's youngest entrepreneur Suhas Gopinath - also design legend Professor Luigi Colani.

Prof. Colani, inventor of the bio-design, who describes himself as the legitimate successor of renowned Galileo Galilei, has impressed along his 50 years of activity with a variety of spectacular cars, airplanes and architecture, more than 1000 individual pieces of furniture and products as well as thousands of world novelties and technical world records. His idiosyncratic and spectacular designs and products are epoch-making milestones of design history, which were ahead of their their time for decades.
Colani has done over 20,000 designs in his career. Roughly 70 percent of them have also become off-the-shelf products - usually items such as pens and eggcups. More rarely went into production his unusual designs such as the stratospheric sailplane, the vertical take-off plane or the "super sports car" with 900 hp.
Even today, over 80 years old, energetic,"eternal do-gooder" Colani achieves to completely fill an entire hall with his very presence. Eloquent and quick-witted in over 10 languages and creative from root to tip, controversial, ruthlessly direct, argumentative, and exciting. No wonder that the London Design Museum is talking about a "Colani Revival".
