Seating system
The system consists of a single seating element with adjustable backrest height, a pouf, and 4 different tables. The extension of the backrest rotates by 150°, transforming the sofa with a low backrest and a shallow seat into a sofa with an high backrest and a deep seat.

RY is more than a new interpretation of the classical plate set. Its form links the historically grown habits of European and East Asian eating culture. The design of the soup plates is based on the frozen moment of a liquid’s surface tension, shortly before releasing a drop. The low point of the plate floats only few millimeters over the table without ever touching it. The flat (bottom) plate is literally waiting for the drop to catch.
