Downtown Vienna Design Studios and Workshops Open Doors at “Designpfad”

"Designpfad" (Design Trail) is taking place in downtown Vienna already in early May this year. The theme is "Design oder nicht sein", a pun in German that approaches the broad topic of design to the general public. From 6 to 8 May, the “Designpfad” helps to blaze the trail through workshops and studios in Vienna's 7th and 8th District.

Late-breaking UK Fashion Design In Vienna At “Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!”

From June 10, the exhibition "Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!" will give a deep insight into the innovative world of British fashion design, featuring extraordinary creations already worn by Lady Gaga and Tilda Swinton. The invited designer labels include Charlie Le Mindu, Craig Lawrence, Louise Gray, Piers Atkinson, Scott Ramsay Kyle and Dashing Tweeds.

Ringstrassen-Galerien Designer Award 2010 Goes International

For the first time Vienna's established fashion design competition "Ringstrassen-Galerien Designer Award" is internationally extended in cooperation with "NOT JUST A LABEL", one of the best online platform for young fashion design. Young designers are invited worldwide to present their designs and ideas on "BLACK AND WHITE". Submissions are accepted by February 22, 2010. On April 21 the winner will be awarded.
