Stefan Sagmeister Presents His Highly Acclaimed Book in Vienna

On Friday, 4 July 2008, NY-based Austrian graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister will give one of his awaited lectures in Vienna's MuseumsQuartier.

On the occasion of his presence as a juror for the Joseph Binder Design Award 2008 competition organized by designaustria, Stefan Sagmeister will talk about his design philosophy and present his new book "Things I have learned in my life so far" (published by Hermann Schmidt Mainz).
Stefan Sagmeister is one of the world's most famous designers. His CD covers for the Rolling Stones, Talking Heads or Lou Reed made Stefan Sagmeister a "star" in the scene. Born in Bregenz and after graduating in graphic design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and New York's Pratt Institute, he founded the "Sagmeister Inc." agency in 1993 in New York. This was followed by work for Adobe and Zumtobel as well as CD covers for the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Talking Heads and Lou Reed (Grammy 2005).
